William A. Anderson, III

Will Anderson concentrates on commercial real estate, land use, and business law.  Will has extensive experience representing developers with the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition of various projects, including large mixed use projects.  He counsels his clients on a range of issues relating to residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, including condominiums.  Will has negotiated numerous leases for commercial landlords and tenants.  Will assists his lender clients making real estate and construction loans.  

Will has a special expertise in conservation and preservation law.  He represents land trusts and private landowners in conservation transactions, and he speaks and writes on conservation related topics.  Will has handled complex conservation transactions for landowners and land trusts involving purchases, charitable gifts, and conservation easements.  He is familiar with various conservation transaction funding sources and the state and federal tax benefits available to donors. 

Will was named to the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America in the area of Real Estate Law.
