Rob was born in Apex, but was raised in Concord, North Carolina. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of North Carolina, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa as an undergraduate. Prior to his legal career, he was a banking officer in Durham with Central Carolina Bank and Trust Company, dealing with commercial and consumer lending as well as credit analysis. Rob is recognized by the publication, The Best Lawyers in America, as the preeminent Durham attorney in the Real Estate category.
